Aragami 2 releases today on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4 and PC

Stealth action adventure Aragami 2 released today, so naturally there’s a launch trailer to celebrate.

The last entry in the Tenchu inspired series has been in the works for almost five years. You will play as the titular Aragami. They are elite warriors who are afflicted with a supernatural curse that allows them to control the shadows. You and your clan must take on quests, assassinate enemies, and fight the Akatsuchi Empire as part of your adventure.

You can play the entire campaign solo or with up to two other players in co-op. Players can also choose from one of three play styles: ghost, spirit, or demon. Each with its own strengths and weaknesses. There are also plenty of abilities, shadow powers, and special equipment to choose from. The combat system has been completely overhauled since the first game, the developers say, to help you truly feel like a ninja.

It should be noted, however, that players who attempt to play co-op on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One may experience slight performance issues. The developers have said they are working on a fix, but cannot commit to a date yet.

You can check out the launch trailer for Aragami 2 down. The game is released today on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can also grab the game immediately on Xbox Game Pass.
