Man accused of stealing 21 packs of Pokémon cards: PSP Milton | Crime reports

Lewisburg, Pennsylvania РA 27-year-old man from Catawissa has been charged with stealing 21 packs of Pok̩mon cards from a Sheetz store, police report.

Michael A. Long has been charged with third degree retail theft. It has been classified as a felony since it is Long’s third theft offense, according to the arrest affidavit.

A manager at Lewisburg Sheetz in Kelly Township contacted police in April to report that Long entered the store on March 25 and took the packs of cards. Long hid the cards over his body and left the store without paying for them, according to the affidavit prepared by Private Matthew Hill of the Pennsylvania State Police in Milton. The cards are valued at $ 5.99 per pack, which is a total store loss of $ 125.79.

Police ended the video surveillance and watched Long leave the store parking lot in a red Jeep. They traced the recording back to Long. Police contacted Long, who declined to comment but “asked if he could reimburse Sheetz for the stolen Pokémon cards,” Hill wrote.

Other charges against Long include receiving stolen property and summary driving offenses with a suspended license. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3 at the office of District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe.
