The next Xbox Series X restock has been announced, and it will be behind a paywall, courtesy of GameStop. Like the PS5, the Xbox Series X is currently incredibly difficult to buy due to low supply and high demand. This has been the case since pre-orders first went live in September 2020, and the situation is unlikely to improve anytime soon. In fact, the situation might not improve until 2023. Whether it’s GameStop or Amazon or Best Buy or Walmart or Target or GAME or Antonline or Costco, it doesn’t matter, current gen consoles sell out instantly. And with stores still not allowing customers to purchase the Xbox Series X and PS5, in-store and in person, many have given up hope. That said, that next GameStop replenishment will be an easy cop, if you have the cash.
Right off the bat, replenishment gets stuck behind a GameStop Pro subscription, which costs $ 15 per year. On top of that, all stock is sold via bundles, which means paying extra for additional packs. At the time of publication, the finer details on the makeup of these sets are not being disclosed, but we know they will understand. Far cry 6, which should be released this week.
GameStop sent another email reminder that the Xbox Series X Far Cry 6 packs will be available in Pro Early Access Thursday at 8:00 a.m. PT, and for Pokemon Trading Cards on Friday. Sign up for Pro Rewards: https://t.co/0W39lNJitj #a d pic.twitter.com/OEQKgLoJ6u

For now, that’s all we know about restocking. Of course, as we learn more, we’ll update the story accordingly. As for other additional restockings at other retailers, at this time, we don’t know of any. That’s not to say there won’t be more this week, but if they do, it will likely be stealth drops.
The Xbox Series X is available worldwide, starting at $ 500. For more coverage on all things Xbox – including all the latest in Xbox Series X and console restockings – click here or, alternatively, check out the relevant and recent links listed below:
