Overview of PSP Montoursville Criminal Incident Reports | Crime reports


Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville have investigated a number of recent incidents in Lycoming County:

PFA Breach, 9:09 p.m. April 25, Bakers Road, Cogan House Township. Police have investigated possible protection against violation of the abuse order. During the investigation, it was found that a violation had occurred and Chad Harter, 40, of Trout Run, was arrested.

Theft by Person No Force, 6:30 p.m. April 24, Randall Circle, Loyalsock Township. Police intervened at a residence to investigate the theft of a bicycle in a front yard. The incident is awaiting further investigation.

All other theft, 1:24 p.m., April 24, Econo Lodge, 2019 E. Third St., Loyalsock Township. Police investigated the theft of a small Bluetooth speaker from a room.

Harassment Physical Contact, 6:15 p.m. April 23, Moreys Tavern, 2010 E. Third St., Loyalsock Township. Police responded to a brawl report. Upon further investigation, it was determined that one person was told to leave the tavern and refused to do so. The individual, a 38-year-old man from Williamsport, then vowed to push, shove, punch and kick three other people who were trying to help his dismissal. Charges will be filed against the individual, whom police did not name in their report.

Property found, 5 p.m. April 23, Vernon Ave., Williamsport. Police say a cyclist found a Model A2200 iPad with a cracked screen along Sulfur Springs Road and turned it over to police. Anyone with information on the ownership of the iPad can contact PSP Montoursville.

Theft of Services, 2 p.m., April 23, Staples, 1915 E. Third St., Township of Loyalsock. Police responded to a report that an individual was dumping garbage into the Staples dumpster without being given permission. The incident is awaiting further investigation.

Physical contact on harassment, 11:24 p.m. Fredna Avenue, Loyalsock Township. Police said Krislyn Reish, 27, of Williamsport, punched a woman in the face during an argument. Reish was cited for harassment.

Garbage Scattering, 9:22 a.m., April 21, S. Puderbach Hollow Rd. And Route 118, Jordan Township. Police were told that garbage had been dumped along South Puderbach Hollow Road. The actor has been identified and the police have taken action to resolve the issue.






Criminal mischief under $ 1,000, between 5 p.m. on April 20 and noon on April 21, Becker Hill Road, Loyalsock Township. Police are investigating an incident in which the rear windshield of a Chevrolet Malibu was damaged.

DUI on View Alcohol, 2:08 p.m. April 20, 241 Back St., Upper Fairfield Township. Police responded to a welfare check for Back Street’s Eric Craver. Craver fled the scene before the patrol units intervened and was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. Craver was located at Rite Aid, arrested on suspicion of DUI and treated at UPMC Williamsport. Charge pending blood results.

Burglary Residential No Force, 2 a.m. to 3:45 a.m. April 18, Randall Circle, Loyalsock Township. Police said an unknown suspect entered a residence through a window and stole a sunflower-shaped, blue-colored key ring.

Theft of objects from motor vehicle, 12:30 p.m. April 18, 800 block Ridge Rd., Washington Township. Police said an unknown suspect took about $ 83 from the victim’s vehicle. Anyone with information can contact PSP Montoursville.

Residential Burglary No Force, 11 a.m. to 12:48 p.m. April 16, National Highway 287, Cogan House Township. Police received a report that someone was scattering trash, including a wooden garage door with glass windows. Further investigation will follow.

Death Natural, 4:42 p.m., April 13, Black Forest Inn, North State Route 44, Brown Township. Police have been dispatched to the North State Route 44 area to assist the Tiadaghton Police Department in locating a missing person. The individual was in a motel room, appearing unconscious and having a possible medical emergency. The individual was taken to Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital for further medical treatment. The Lycoming County Coroner’s Office then contacted PSP to inform them that the person had been pronounced dead in the hospital.

All other theft, 12:00 p.m. April 11, Embassy Healthcare, Sycamore Road, Loyalsock Township. Police said three 300 mg gabapentin pills had been reported as stolen. Further investigation will follow.

DUI Crash Alcohol, 12:39 p.m. April 11, 2100 block of State Route 405, Muncy Creek Township. Police responded to an accident on National Highway 405 near Heatherbrooke Estates. Driver Jamie Moore, 45, of Hughesville, fled the scene and further investigation found her severely intoxicated at her residence where she admitted to driving, police said. Moore was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The charges are pending blood results.

Garbage Scattering, 3 p.m. April 10, 4100 Block Sulfur Springs Rd., Washington Township. Police said James Rooker, 21, of Cogan Station, dropped off several bags of trash and was charged with scattering trash.

Theft of objects from motor vehicle, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., March 26, Mr. Tire, 1950 E. Third St., Loyalsock Township. Police said someone stole a pair of Rayban sunglasses from a victim in Mr. Tire’s lobby. Anyone with information can contact PSP Montoursville.

Drug Possession, 5:11 a.m. February 28, W. Third St., Williamsport. Police said Chelsi Hess was taken to Lycoming County Jail and was in possession of narcotics upon admission. Hess is incarcerated at SCI-Muncy and charges are pending.

All others, 8 am February 8, Randall Circle, Loyalsock Township. Police are investigating an identity theft case that occurred in February 2021. The victim said unauthorized charges were laid using his identity in the amount of $ 1,300. The charge was for an emergency room bill.

Theft by deception Identity theft, between February 14 and March 17, 1900 block of Walters Road, Loyalsock Township. Police said an unknown suspect used a victim’s personal ID card to make a bogus request for pandemic assistance from the Ministry of Labor and Industry. The victim was able to deny the claim.

Retail Theft / Shoplifting, January 26 – April 11, Weis Markets, 1272 E. Penn Street, Muncy Creek Township. Police said a suspect stole a total of $ 480.43 in merchandise.
