PlayStation 5 will be available on ShopAtSC on February 22

From its inception, the PlayStation 5 was hard to come by. PlayStation fans around the world have tried to buy Sony’s latest game console only to be disappointed. The company manages to ship a few units around the world from time to time, but supply falls far short of demand. That said, the PlayStation 5 will be available for purchase in India on February 22, 2022 at noon. PS5 restocking will be done on Sony’s official online store, ShopAtSC.

The PS5 restock in India has been officially announced by Sony via its ShopAtSC online store. As seen in previous PS5 restocks in India, other retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales are also expected to offer small restocks of the PlayStation 5 standard edition. It is important to note that the last sale of PS5 in India was recently on January 18, 2022.

Sony PlayStation 5 will be up for grabs on February 22, 2022

According to the banner posted by ShopatSC, those wishing to purchase the PlayStation 5 will be able to do so at 12:00 p.m. IST on February 22, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. IST. Last time, Sony only advertised the standard version of the console. Tomorrow, the PlayStation 5 Regular Edition and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will be available for reservation. Deliveries of the ordered PS5 consoles will start from March 10, 2022 (as mentioned on ShopAtSC). As mentioned earlier, all other major retailers are also expected to participate in the PS5 restock.

Sony PS5 pre-booking price in India

The PS5 Regular Edition has been listed for Rs. 49,990 and the PS5 Digital Edition will be available for Rs. 39,990. In the retail box, gamers are supposed to get the console and the DualSense controller. The PlayStation 5 pre-order window could end in minutes, as it has with previous restocks. Therefore, those wishing to purchase should quickly verify the product with the retailer of their choice.

Along the same lines, Sony recently filed a patent for a PlayStation mobile controller. Like other handheld mobile controllers, it would fit a smartphone in between and have buttons on either side.
