June is set to be another good month for gamers looking to acquire PS5 shares, with a number of major UK retailers linked with big PlayStation 5 shipments.
The latest reports have revealed that there will be PS5 restockings at Amazon, Argos, Smyths, GAME, and John Lewis.
Other small retailers were also put on the June replenishment list, including ShopTo, Scan, Studio and Very.
And the good news is that this week should see at least one big shipment of PS5 stock for console hunters to try their luck.
May saw several large shipments from GAME and Amazon UK, although no UK retailer could keep up with demand.
Based on the latest reports, an Amazon UK PS5 restock is scheduled between June 1-4.
It’s still a fairly large network for gamers, but it gives a good idea of what will happen this week.
And Amazon shouldn’t be alone, with AO, John Lewis and Smyths Toys also set to release PlayStation 5 stock this week.
We don’t have an exact date or time to confirm yet, but there are plenty of reliable stock trackers providing the latest updates.
The PS5 Stock Alert Twitter account provided these latest dates, telling players this week, “These dates are calculated based on previous replenishment patterns as well as inside information, so the dates could change as we get closer to replenishments.
“Once we know that a change has taken place, we’ll post it on Twitter. In conclusion, these dates are not a guarantee. “
With that caveat in mind, there should still be at least one PS5 restock this week, before June 5.
Smyths Toys is known to have released PlayStation shares on Friday, which means June 4th is a good shout out.
The official Smyths website confirms that PlayStation 5 disc consoles will be available again in June, although no additional information has been shared on when this new restock will begin.
Other large retailers are also cutting inventories in June, but will not do so this week.
Argos has become a major supplier of next-gen consoles in 2021 and will offer its next big drop in the coming weeks.
From what has been shared so far, the next drop in stock of Argos PS5 will take place around June 22.
Meanwhile, GAME UK is another big retailer that reportedly ditched thousands of additional consoles next month, which is expected to hit its website on June 10.
As always, none of this information is from official sources and means everything should be taken with a pinch of salt.
It’s important to know that more PlayStation stocks are coming, but console hunters should also know the best ways to get stock on each platform.
Here are some examples of the best way to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from major UK retailers:
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works best under power, but still has a few issues to mention. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before heading out.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use the Guest command, as this option is less likely to crash when finalizing a purchase. GAME recently restocked the PS5 and is out of stock again.
ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for its crashes and inability to make purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is not expected to receive any more stock until later in June.
THE MAILS: Currys didn’t share much stock in May but did deliver consoles through a new system. This includes signing up for the Currys VIP Pass, which means going to the website and using an email address. If you do this, you have a chance to buy a PS5 console from a store, within 72 hours.
