Death loop is the latest game to release on PlayStation 5, and it’s also the best PlayStation 5 exclusive to date. There are so There’s a lot going on in this game, and between its time-looping story, gorgeous aesthetic, and perfect soundtrack, there’s a lot to love, too. Protagonist Cole is an absolute delight in this mysterious time-looping assassin adventure, and he’s just one of many reasons to dive into Death loop‘s excellent, imaginative world.

It’s not a game you can just walk through, but the level of thinking that goes into every puzzle and part of its world is phenomenal. You will need to keep your cool, make choices wisely, and investigate every mystery in your path as the Death loopThe winding story of takes place in a dramatic and beautiful way.

If ever there was a reason to shell out for a PlayStation 5, it’s Death loop. Even if you are not a fan of the red genre, this game has a way to hook you up and keep you close to every wild ride and trick. In short, it is a triumph.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart pushes the PS5 to its absolute limits in the best possible way, showing exactly what the console is capable of. Each scene in the game is packed up with detail, every fight is bright and flashy, and every character jumps off the screen. Ratchet has lifelike hair and individually Clank’s metallic body glows in the sun and each weapon fires bright, shiny explosions.

Add in super responsive controls, a great story, and plenty of diverse biomes to explore, and you’ve got one of the best games for all ages on the PS5. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played a Ratchet & Clank game before (this explains the story pretty well) – you will be almost immediately mesmerized when you jump into the very first level.

The effort and love that went into this game is astounding, and the polish here is awe-inspiring. It is truly a magical adventure, and an adventure worth it.

Return is a little different from the other games on this list in that it won’t be suitable for everyone, but if you like a good challenge, then go for it. In Return, You play as Selena, a space pilot who finds herself stranded on an alien planet caught in a time loop. Whenever she dies (usually at the hands of a hideous Lovecraftian beast), she is forced to rebuild herself with new skills and experiences, and start a round again in an effort to escape her deadly and mysterious prison.

Among the games on this list, Return is the most punitive, but also one of the most interesting. Selene’s journey is filled with twists and turns, and around every corner you’ll find more baffling new beasts brought to life by the graphics prowess of the PlayStation 5.

Each turn of Return is scarier and more dangerous than the last one, but the feeling of satisfaction you get when you finally escape the loop is unbeatable. The history and the world here is phenomenal.

Sackboy: a great adventure

Sackboy: a great adventure is one of the healthiest games currently available for the PlayStation 5, and it will melt even the coldest soul. Every inch of this platformer is filled with heart, and there are so many beautiful and ingenious levels to navigate in this sequel to Little big planet. There’s even a whole world playing out to the tune of Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars. What more could you want?

With many hidden secrets and collectibles, this is a game that you will quickly fall in love with. Beyond Sackboy himself, all of the characters are true joys, and they come to life so well thanks to the sparkling visuals and haptic feedback of the PS5.

If you ever have a bad day or just want a little getaway, Sackboy: a great adventure is a great game to dive into.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a magnificent game, and which puts you directly in the shoes of a superhero swinging around the city. Although this is a direct sequel to 2018 Spider Man, Miles Morales is a standalone tale and you can get by on your own. Compared to other experiences on this list, the history of the game is quite short, but you can still waste many hours running, jumping and swinging here because the gameplay is so amusing.

Miles is also a wonderful character, and one of the great strengths of the game.

As Sackboy, you can get it for PS4, but it’s best known on PS5 with those brilliant “next-gen” graphics and the smooth haptic controller feedback that really makes you feel like you’re in the driver’s seat. It’s as close to becoming Spider-Man as it gets in real life, and it’s an ace on PS5.
