The information comes from an official presentation released for Sony “Investor relations day, “which took place on May 27. The presentation offered a glimpse into the financial growth and future of PlayStation. As part of a section on new growth vectors, Unexplored 4 was listed under a heading that read “No More PC Releases Planned,” suggesting the game will join other PlayStation exclusive titles that have moved from console to PC. Although the information has not been officially announced by Sony or Unexplored 4From the developer of Naughty Dog, the inclusion of the game in the report suggests a port is in the pipeline.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4, marked the fourth entry in the video game series. Creation of a stand-alone extension (The lost legacy) and a feature film starring Tom Holland, the game has received critical acclaim and won several end-of-year accolades, including Game of the Year awards from several publications. The game was meant to serve as a conclusion to the series’ story, although reports suggest that a fifth Uncharted title may be on the way.
The series, being exclusive to PlayStation, has proven itself as a poster child for the company, and with potential port along the way, UnexploredThe fan base of can continue to grow. The game would follow other PlayStation exclusive titles Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit: become human and Days Faded away heading to the PC, with more to potentially add, following Sony’s efforts to distribute more PS4 titles to a wider audience.
Sony Interactive President Jim Ryan had formerly called the movement “a fairly simple decision” for the company to make, given the relative ease of dissemination of the availability of the games in question. Sony’s investor relations presentation appears to further confirm the success of the move, noting the “return on investment” of Horizon Zero Dawn growing by 250% in March 2022, in addition to building new fans and targeting new geographies.
We do not know if the other games in the Unexplored The series will be coming to PC at some point as well, but at the very least, it looks like Nathan Drake’s cinematic and defining conclusion will find its way there, according to Sony’s presentation. Until then, fans should keep an eye out for an official confirmation from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Endthe decision, which can further inform the details of the decision.
