We can’t forget how beautiful Gran Turismo looks on PS5

Just when we think the game is at its best, it just keeps getting better. Only a few months ago we saw the jaw-dropping hyperrealistic graphics of Ride 4, and now another racing game promises even more innovation and immersion.

Gran Turismo 7 (or GT7) is slated for release on PlayStation 4 and 5 next March, and there’s already a lot of hype surrounding it and its incredibly immersive gaming experience. The series creator has revealed a handful of innovative racing game features in an exclusive video, and it’s getting a lot of excitement among the gaming community. Still haven’t got your hands on a PlayStation 5? Be sure to check out our guide on where to pre-order the PS5.

In a brand new behind-the-scenes video on YouTube, GT7 creator Kazunori Yamauchi said, “We have [GT7 team] have finally reached a pretty tangible level of realism. ”Yamauchi goes on to describe how the game’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will be used to recreate the feel of pauses in racing cars. The game will also use ray tracing (a graphic light rendering) to make cars look even more beautiful, and we’re seriously impressed with how hyper-realistic these cars look.

We can’t really understand how well-designed these graphics are, and we think Gran Turismo 7 could give Ride 4 a run for its money in terms of realism. It seems like Twitter users are just as impressed with the game as we are. One user tweeted, “Forza wants it to be this immersive,” and another replied, “This may be the first racing game I’ve bought in over a decade.”

Despite all the exciting tech and new features in the game, it looks like only the PlayStation 5 will get a full immersive experience. This means that PS4 gamers with the DualShock controller will miss out on the advanced technology of the DualSense controllers that come with the PS5, meaning that the experience will be less immersive for gamers with a PlayStation 4.

We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy and see how these graphics and features are in action. But in the meantime, we’ll have to get our gaming fix through the best Nintendo Switch games. Or if you fancy a weekend of gaming on your own, then why not treat yourself to one of the best gaming consoles on the market?
